Celebrate 20 Years of Survival!
I will never forget the first time I watched the Denver Komen Race on TV in October 2004. I was recovering frm my first lumpectomey that had happened just a couple of days before. I watched as survivors recieved their 15 and 20 year survival ribbons and I cried. I had been told I would probably not make it more than a few months or five years. This year, I celebrate my 20-year diagnosis of breast cancer. My medical professionals say that I should not be alive. But, God has a much bigger plan for me! As a BRCA1 survivor, I am committed to finding a way to make a difference in the lives of those diagnosed with this disease. I would love for you to join my team!
