On June 15th, 2023, life threw me a curveball: triple-negative breast cancer. A phone call I will never forget. I remember asking my doctor “Am I gonna die? Can I beat this? Is there a cure?” She said “Niccole, if anyone can beat this, it’s you. But I fear your journey won’t be easy—this is aggressive, and treatment options are limited.”

I took a deep breath, said a prayer and told myself this isn't the end of my story, it was the beginning. 

Countless appointments, 3 surgeries, 13 rounds of chemo, 130 hours of freezing my head (thanks to my rockstar hubby!), 16 rounds of immunotherapy (Only 2 more to go!)—it’s been a ride! LOTS of tears and fears BUT through it all I stayed as positive as possible, kept fighting with everything I had and never lost my faith!

On February 12th, I hit a huge milestone: survivorship! I didn’t get here on my own. You were ALL right there with me. We fought cancer together and won. I could not have done it without each and every one of you!

This fight is bigger than just me. It’s for everyone still fighting, for the survivors who’ve made it through, and for the loved ones we’ve lost. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Let’s raise money, awareness and keep going until cancer is knocked out for good!
