We participate in this breast cancer walk as a family united by love and solidarity. Members of our family, Carla Smith and Cathy Williams, were diagnosed with breast cancer—a challenge no one anticipates. Yet, from the moment we received the news, they have demonstrated unwavering strength, determination, and resilience. Their actions have taught us that, regardless of how difficult the journey may be, we can endure and overcome. When they fight, we all fight. We walk beside them, not only for them but for all those who face this battle with the same courage and fortitude.

Our faith is our foundation throughout this journey. As the scripture states, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). These words serve as a powerful reminder that resilience is not about avoiding challenges but about enduring them with grace and faith.

We walk because we believe in hope, healing, and the strength of family. Together, we are the Resilient Walkers!
