My Story - I will get by, I will survive
In the United States, about 1 in 8 women, or 12%, will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. This means that there's a 7 in 8 chance that a woman will never develop breast cancer.
This past year, I became the 1 in 8. Early detection was on my side and I cannot say enough about getting the girls checked and being an advocate for yourself! I hope that you will only have to hear the stories about life with breast cancer and will never have to live them.
