Why I joined
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Just a few months ago, one of my dear friends was suddenly diagnosed with breast cancer - thrusting us into a new world of uncertainty and fear. The news hit me like a ton of bricks because it can happen that fast to any one of us.
Watching someone you care about facing such a daunting battle is heart-wrenching, But one thing is clear, we are not powerless. We have the strength to stand together, to support each other, and to fight back against this disease. My friend has been fighting with such strength and courage she is truly an inspiration to me.
In honor of my friend’s bravery and to support all those affected by breast cancer, I am joining this breast cancer walk.
