My Story
In April, 2024 I was diagnosed with hormone positive HER2+ breast cancer. After surgery I have started chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment. It’s not been easy but I am more than halfway through with chemotherapy and I will keep going as long as is needed to beat this disease. In total it will be at least five years of treatment. I know that I am lucky to have these effective treatment options that are the result of research, which is why I am raising money for the Susan G Komen foundation by participating in the More than Pink Walk along with my family who are supporting me during this time.
