During my freshman year in college, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Today, she’s a survivor. The strength and grace in which she both fought and leads her life inspire me in every way.

This year my mom is leading a team in Susan G. Komen’s “Race for the Cure.” Years ago, when she created an instagram, she chose her username for her initials - LFG - not realizing it’s double entendre. Now, she has a kick ass team name. Please considering joining “LFG in PINK” and donating to the fight against breast cancer.
