For more than 15 years, I have supported Susan G. Komen and have served as Miller Nash's team captain for the MORE THAN PINK Walk for more than five years. I believe in Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today.
In 2008, I was diganosed with Her2+ breast cancer. Thanks to Genentech, a treatment for Her2+, Herceptin, had been approved in 1998 and made survival much more likely. Komen was one of the organizations funding that research. Today I am still working and, with my husband, enjoying my eight grandchildren.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Statistically, one in eight women in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, and mortality continues to be higher in women of color. In addition to funding research into finding a cure, Komen provides educational resources and financial assistance for screenings and patients.
