My Story
As you may know I was diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer in early June of this year. Thus far I have had a bilateral mastectomy and we are planning, with my care team, what the next phase of the journey will be. It will mostly likely involve radiation, endocrine therapy as well as immunotherapy.
I didn't think I would be diagnosed with any type of cancer before the age of 50, and so it was quite a shock when the word cancer was given to me. But we are here battling through it to the other side, I have a lot of life left to live and I plan on making the best of it all.
