My Story
Last spring I felt a lump and knowing family members on both sides had been diagnosed with breast cancer I had a feeling I would be joining the club. I scheduled a doctors appointment as soon as possible and everything went very quickly from there. Because of my age I went to my first mammogram, followed by a biopsy and MRI. I was diagnosed with Stage 2B IDC ER+, Hr- Breast Cancer. with lymph-node involvement. Luckily both family members who had cancer beat it years ago. I work for a company who cares about is employees well being. I went in very positive and am now done with active treatment.
I know not everyone's story isn't as easy or have the support and experience I did. I want to help in anyway I can to relieve some stress from those facing treatment.
