My Story
Some of you know my friend Nikki Panico, Executive Director of Susan G. Komen in Wisconsin, one of the most caring individuals you’ll ever meet and she’s been a huge inspiration to me.
Nikki’s dedication to breast cancer awareness and research began after she lost her mother and aunt to the disease—which she herself later fought and overcame. Sadly, after being in remission for 14 years, she recently learned her cancer has returned.
She is fortunate to have a community of supporters, a fantastic care team and solid treatment plan in place.
We know one of the things Nikki wants most is to find the cures for breast cancer.Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Whether it’s emotional support via Komen’s helpline, financial support through Komen’s financial assistance program, or navigation services to break down barriers to care, Komen will be there for them.
This year I am doing this for Nikki. To the most amazing and caring friend and neighbor I have ever had. We love you Nikki â¤ï¸
