Why do I walk?
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
I have seen first hand how donations can help SO many women in need. Not everyone has a family and friends support system as incredible as I had. Not everyone responded well to chemo like I did. Not everyone could take time off work to focus on battling cancer. I realize how fortunate I was in so many ways and want to make a small difference to someone's life during their battle by doing this walk.
I am GRATEFUL AND BLESSED to walk this year as a SURVIVOR. I was in the middle of chemo last year during this walk with my cute bald head!! I will be rocking my chemo curls and realizing how EACH day is a gift I am so thankful to have.
This walk means a lot to me. Just to be around other women who have been in my shoes. Also for the women who are walking in my shoes now. This walk is for you.
