Hello Friends!

With 1 in 8 women being diagnosed with breast cancer, unfortunately we all know far too many people who have been impacted. OH! How I wish this was not the case. But it is.  

This is a mission I first became passionate about in 2001, when my best friend (since I was 9 yrs. old) was diagnosed at the young age of 28 with breast cancer. Her story is one of resilience, determination, and hope as she kicked breast cancer to the curb in 2001, again in 2017 and is now currently battling (and conquering) it for a third time as you read this today.

HER resilience, determination, positivity, zest for life and on-going FIGHT is what inspires everyone around her to simply be the best versions of themselves. What an inspiration and gift she is to ALL who know her.

I raise dollars in support of my person, Ann. I raise dollars for a cause that supports breakthrough research and provides assistance (every step of the way) through Komen’s Patient Care Center to those currently facing breast cancer.

In fact, Komen’s research investments contributed to the development of ALL 19 lifesaving breast cancer drugs approved by the FDA over the past 12 years. These drugs are being used to treat early-stage and advanced/metastatic breast cancers of all types. These drugs have helped save lives and I am BEYOND grateful for this.
