In honor of 20 years breast cancer free.
We call on you, our family and friends, to join us in our venture so that one day families like ours do not face the hardships breast cancer brings. We are organizing our team for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure on September 8th, 2024. All donations raised go towards breast cancer awareness and finding the cure. All those in the DC area, we invite you to run or walk with us. Thank you - we appreciate your support!

Michelle Pizzano was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001. New parents, Michelle and David, to their son, David Jr, decided to fight. She battled her disease and went into remission in 2002. This allowed them a daughter, Jacquelyn. While preparing for her arrival, the breast cancer came back. Michelle was diagnosed again in 2004. With two young children, our mother stepped up and fought again to defeat breast cancer. This allowed David and Michelle the opportunity to continue to grow our family and welcome their two youngest children, Michael and Madelyn. Michelle, alongside her husband and best friend, David, has been in remission since 2004.
Our mother is a warrior - not a title to be taken lightly. Our mother is the strongest woman we have ever known. A two-time survivor of breast cancer and four-time champion of raising Pizzano children, Michelle is no stranger to adversity.
