My Story
This Spring I transitioned from breast cancer supporter to survivor. Thanks to the advice of a fellow survivor and long-time Komen champion to get a breast MRI (based on family history), I was diagnosed early….greatly reducing the degree of subsequent treatment. The increasing number of bc survivors I count among my family and friends has me wanting to do more and so I am joining Champions of the Cure for this year’s Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk.
