My Story
At the end of 2021 I was diagnosed with Stage 1,2B Breast Cancer. I was lucky I only had to do a lumpectomy, removal of a couple lymph nodes, radiation, and a 5 year course of tamoxifen to starve out the cancer cells; However, many women undergo much more taxing treatments for their breast cancer. I want to help cure breast cancer, so I'm walking and fundraising with the Susan Komen More Than Pink Walk on Sunday September 8, in Washington D.C. Freedom Plaza.
