I am Judy, the team captain. My fight with breast cancer is personal. I first started this team, Hopeful soles, in 2000. I walked in 2001 and 2002 in the  60 mile walks in LA and Seattle. I've walked and run in many other events over the years. I walked for my mother, my cousin, and a friend. 

Now I am adding to our team name. We are Frizzie Lizzie's Hopeful Soles. Now, I am walking again as a Mama Bear and I am fighting for my daughter, Elizabeth. I want her to know that as she starts her journey with breast cancer treatment, she will never be alone.  Each step we take, no matter how small, is a step towards the cure for her, for  all women, and for all men. She is strong, we are strong, and we can do this!
