My Story
I walk for my sister, currently in the midst of treatment.
I walk for myself, a 3-year survivor.
I walk for my mom, a 30+ year survivor.
I walk for my many Aunts that are survivors.
But most of all, I walk for my daughter, sisters, nieces, and friends. So they don’t have to suffer through breast cancer also. It has affected my family enough.
I am approaching 2 years since I completed my active treatment for Stage 2, Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Last year I walked with Komen organization in a 3-Day, 60 mile walk. That was amazing, especially having my sisters by my side. This year, I am walking with dear friends in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk on October 26, 2024.
