This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
For those that don’t know my ONLY grandparent/ (grandmother)was taken from us due to breast cancer and I have always been diligent about getting mammograms. March 18th, 2024 my life was forever changed! I was diagnosed with breast cancer! Unless you have been through it you will never know how difficult the journey really can be! I am now even more proud of all the “pink warriors” out there that have been through it. They know who they are and helped me greatly along the way! The one bit of advice I would give —-there can never be too much support! A text, card or phone call can make the difference in your day in this type of journey. I thank all of those who supported me over the last 6 months of the journey. First surgery then chemo —now on to finishing immunotherapy. My first decision after biopsy’s, MRI’s was to cut my hair as I was not going to let cancer define me! You may get tired of my posting about fundraising for Breast cancer but there are organizations out there that made my journey easier.
