This year I am participating in the walk/race in memoriam of my cousin AMANDA MARKLEY. Amanda succumbed to cancer on January 25, 2023 at the age of 43 leaving behind her husband, teenage son and many family, friends and loved ones.  I do not believe that we should live in a world that cancer exist, and this is one way that I can do my part in making sure that becomes more a reality. No one with cancer should have to fight alone and with these walks/races and people showing awareness we can help reassure anyone battling cancer that they are not alone.
