Ending breast cancer forever is at the center of Susan G. Komen’s mission. And that’s why I’m fundraising for this incredible cause; so that no one has to face breast cancer alone.

I am walking this year in honor of my dear sewing friend Bea Coyne, a 25 year breast cancer survivor, who lost her life this year to a stroke. A registered nurse at Hillman Cancer Center she encouraged others while fighting her own battle. I also walk in honor of my friend Josh Bayer who continues his battle with cancer.
