Event Day Tools

  • Back Sign - Get ready for this weekend by printing and filling in your In Celebration / In Memory back sign now.
  • ONE Audio Experience - Our event-day podcast is filled with stories from those affected by breast cancer as well as people helping to make a difference through research, care, community, and action.
  • ONE Community Photo Wall - Share your event day photos on social with #ONEKomen and #MoreThanPINK to add your photos to the wall!

This event will be a new kind of community-driven walk, hosted and managed by local volunteers. We will still offer the same type of experience, just on a much smaller scale. And while the event may look a very different, we can still come together to support one another, share our stories, and raise money to end breast cancer.

Meet at Marathon Park, Open Shelter #5, 1201 Stewart Ave, Wausau, WI 54401. It is the white shelter next to the grandstands. Look for the Susan G. Komen Blow Up Arch. From I39/US 51 in Wausau go east on STH 52. STH 52 merges into Stewart Avenue. Park entrance is on the right in the huge stand of white pine trees.

Park in the big gravel parking lot just north of shelter #5.

The 2022 Susan G. Komen Central and Northern Wisconsin MORE THAN PINK Walk is a 1.7-mile walk through the beautiful and tranquil Marathon Park. Participants will have the option to make a U-turn half way through for a shorter 1-mile distance. We look forward to seeing you there!

In the interest of keeping our participants safe, Susan G. Komen will follow local, state and federal guidelines or mandates related to COVID-19. Please review the event’s homepage and/or email communications to receive up-to-date information, including safety precautions or event cancellation.

On Sunday, September 18, 2022, we will walk for the people who can't: For those too weakened by treatment to join. For those who are suffering. For those we have lost. Together we will fight back against breast cancer.
