ABOUT HOSTING

Help us show that breast cancer has met its match by hosting your own pickleball FUN-raising  party (or tournament) in your neighborhood or at your local club.

Your event can take place anywhere you want on your street, in a local park or parking lot or at your pickleball club. No matter where you are, you will put your paddle to work as you help us end breast cancer.

Planning your own event is as easy!

When you sign up as a Host, you will get a Host Welcome Kit, which includes everything you need to plan your event. You will also get a dedicated webpage for your event for others to join or donate. You can edit/update your event page with all the details as soon as you know them. Then, use our Digital Host Tools (i.e., social share graphics, posters, sample emails, etc.) to invite your friends to the event. Once the first ten players have signed up for your event, we’ll send you a Promo and Party Pack full of additional promotional items and fabulous decorations!

Here are 3 things to keep in mind:

  1. We provide a turnkey fundraising and event information page for you, hosted on pickleballforthecure.org. Depending on the size and format of your event, this can also serve as your registration page.
  2. All players are encouraged to fundraise as much as they can for Susan G. Komen to help end breast cancer. Hosts and participants are eligible to earn rewards based on their fundraising level, and we will even send you prizes to give to your event’s top fundraisers!
  3. The event should include a mission element that honors raising funds and awareness. Don’t worry, we provide everything you need to execute this at your event.

For any events taking place across multiple locations or clubs, or expected to have more than 250 participants, our staff will need to assist with creating the event page. If this applies, please enter your information in the form HERE or e-mail pickleball@komen.org.

MORE OF A PLAYER?

Fabulous! You can dink in pink at a local event or do our Pickleball for the Cure Challenge. Both are great ways to raise funds to help end breast cancer!
