I am playing lacrosse to raise money in honor of my godmother, Jenn Drews. She recently lost her fight with breast cancer on October 29, 2024. the last time I saw her was October 27, 2024 and on that day, I promised her I would alway play lacrosse in her honor. Today I keep that promise. throughout my life, she stood by and supported my lacrosse journey. So, to honor my Aunt Jenn, I am participating in the "Lax for the Cure" event to raise money and help Susan G. Komen save lives and end breast cancer forever. 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be impacted by breast cancer in their lifetime, which is why I’m fundraising to help support Komen’s vision of a world without breast cancer.
