Del Webb Tradition--Spread the Hope

 

Del Webb Tradition has an exciting announcement!!  We want to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer in a different way, so we’ve joined together to create a variety of ways for you to join the fight!  On October 1st, we will be hosting the first Spread the Hope event benefitting Susan G. Komen.  This event provides three ways to participate:  pickleball, water aerobics, and a walk.  Additionally, we will also have a raffle sale with wonderful gift baskets provided by local merchants and a bake/craft sale made by our own Del Webb residents!  We welcome all in the Del Webb community to join us on October 1st!  Please check out all the event details below.  If you have questions once you’ve reviewed the details, please contact Charlie Johnson at surfcj1@hotmail.com.

HOW TO REGISTER

Your registration and donation of $20 or more to this page or to one of three events includes a lovely breakfast beginning at 7:30AM (breakfast locations and event details below).  If you plan to participate in one of the events:

1.     Click the back arrow in your web browser (upper left corner)_

2.    Click on the name of the Team that you would like to join

3.    Click JOIN TEAM

4.   Follow the steps and donate $20 or more to complete your registration!

EVENT DETAILS

Dink 4 Pink

o   Select Team Dink 4 Pink to register for the pickleball tournament,

o   Pre-registration is mandatory.  You must register online by September 28.

o   Check-in and breakfast starts at the pickleball courts at 7:30AM

o   Tournament begins at 8:00AM

o   Tournament concludes around 10:00AM

o   To register for Dink 4 Pink:  follow steps 1-4 above.

Walk 4 the Cure

o   Select Team Walk 4 the Cure to register for the walk.

o   Pre-registration is appreciated.  Walk-ins welcome.

o   Breakfast starts at the clubhouse at 7:30AM

o   Volunteers who want to walk—start walk at 8:00AM

o   Check-in for participants starts at 8:45AM

o   Walk begins at 9:15AM

o   Walk concludes around 9:45AM

o   To register for Walk 4 the Cure:  follow steps 1-4 above.

Water Aerobics 4 the Fight

o   Select Team Water Aerobics 4 the Fight to register for water aerobics,

o   Pre-registration is appreciated.  Walk-ins welcome.

o   Breakfast starts at the clubhouse at 7:30AM

o   Check-in starts at 8:15AM

o   Event begins at 9:00AM

o   Event concludes at 10:00AM

o   To register for Water Aerobics 4 the Fight:  follow steps 1-4 above.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Dry fit shirts are available for purchase through the club.  Please email Charlie Johnson at sirfcj1@hotmail.com with your size and gender.  Cost is $20-23.

Pink ribbon cards will be available for $1.00 to write the name of the person you would like to honor.
