For the last decade, Gary has been one of the state's largest fundraisers for the Komen 3-Day. Over ten years, he has raised over $100,000 for the cause. In honor of his life and his battle with Cancer our family has decided to continue his fight.
Over the years, his daughters Emily and Liz his son-in-law, and Mary have all been involved in this project. We want to help Susan G. Komen continue to save lives and end breast cancer forever. We are continuing in his footsteps towards a world without breast cancer by raising funds to stop this disease that affects 1 in 8 women in the U.S. during their lifetimes.
As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit outside the U.S. government, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
