Harvey Reynolds passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023 with his wife by his side.  

While he did not have a breast cancer diagnosis, some of the most important women in his life did.  

The day before Dad passed, I told him that I didn't like the idea of friends and family sending flowers or gifts and would prefer the money go toward benefitting others.  Without hesitation, he agreed and suggested Susan G. Komen because of the women in his life, and their loved ones, who were affected by breast cancer.  

Before his death, he made his two children promise to volunteer.  Giving back to the community and being a productive member of society were important to him.  As a retired librarian for the Department of Defense, he saw the importance of research and education.
