The Mars Area School District has been a proud supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation dating back to 2007. Our annual district-wide fundraiser, known as “Hats for Heroes”, occurs every year in October. The entire community looks forward to this event and has generously supported our fundraising goals throughout the years. Students and staff K-12 are asked to donate money in return for permission to wear a hat throughout the school day. “Hats for Heroes” day is also known for being a PINK OUT where the students, faculty and staff dress in pink to support those impacted by breast cancer. “Hats for Heroes” is a highly anticipated event each year where the Mars Area School District and community come together in support of a great cause!
