Dear Friends and Family,                                                                         

The More Than Pink event (formerly known as the Race for the Cure) is scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd and this will be our 22nd year participating.  Due to Russ’s mobility issue I’ll probably be walking here with a small group of friends.

Over the years we have known many friends and acquaintances who are dealing with breast cancer. In our own family one mother, one daughter and two sisters had breast cancer. And this year our niece just went through a bilateral mastectomy and a good friend has been recently diagnosed and is in the process of determining her treatment.  I’m sure you know plenty of people as well.

We have to keep working to find a cure. That’s why we keep raising money for research, education and services. Please join us in this effort.
