I'm writing to you today with a heavy heart. My mom, Connie Coppola, has arrived at my house under the care of hospice to live her last few days with us. As you know, she has been fighting for her life as she managed the many treatments for breast cancer. No one should have to endure the pain that she has gone through, especially someone so wonderful. It's not fair.
She is surrounded by family and we are all pouring our love over her in every way we can. My mom is ready, she wants and deserves peace. She cannot fight any longer and will likely be leaving this life within a few days for a better one. Thank you all for loving my mother. It was never hard to do. May her spirit live on in all of us in how we take care of one another.
