Our 2024 EXTREME COWGIRL CHALLENGE fundraiser is in memory of Tammy Pate and all the other cowgirls who have succumbed to this horrible disease.

While I didn’t know Tammy Pate well on a personal level, we met several times related to a project I was working on in 2020. She allowed me to use Art Of The Cowgirl as its backdrop.
Jason and I being in AZ for the event planted the original seed that eventually grew into the Extreme Cowgirl Challenge.
It only seems fitting that we use our event as a tip of the hat to a woman who brought so much grace to our industry and helped further the lives and livelihoods of so many cowgirls.
In honoring Tammy, we also want to recognize all the other women we know who have suffered from, survived or succumbed to this terrible disease.
Tammy fought so hard, and her loss will be felt by the horse industry for a very long time.
So, I will honor this sweet cowgirl and all the others with my whole heart, and I hope you will join me.
