This illness has profoundly changed the course of my life.  I have seen suffering, children left without mothers, friends lost, and the physical, emotional, and mental toll this disease places on women. It is devastating! I am running (and walking) 26.2 miles to make a difference.

I want to help Susan G. Komen save lives and end breast cancer forever. 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be impacted by breast cancer in their lifetime, which is why I am fundraising to help support Komen’s vision of a world without breast cancer. As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit outside the U.S. government, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
