Nicholai's Marathon Fundraiser for Susan G. Komen
I am honored to be running this year's New York City Marathon with Team Komen.
I'm running for my mother.
My mom was first diagnosed with stage II breast cancer in 2015. It was a scary and uncertain time for our whole family. In 2020, the cancer recurred as stage IV. It changed everything. Our family and daily life have never been the same. Through it all, my mom has shown a strength I can't fully put into words. She inspires me every day.
I am running with Susan G. Komen so that no other family has to feel as helpless as we did. 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. That is why I’m fundraising to help support Komen’s vision of a world without breast cancer. As the world’s largest breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports vast research while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
If you’re able to contribute, we would be grateful. Thank you for supporting me, my mom, and this incredible organization.
