Support Luke & Team Komen at the New York Marathon!
This November, I'll be running the New York Marathon with Team Komen.
I’m running for my wife, Taylor.
Taylor was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 at the age of 27. She is now undergoing treatment for a stage IV recurrence. Over the past several years, our family has learned what it means to live with cancer, including the uncertainty, the demands of treatment, and the daily work of continuing to show up for each other and for our kids.
We also know that we have not walked through any of this alone.
So many of you have loved us well. You have shown up in big ways and small ones. You have sent messages, made meals, prayed for us, checked in, and made space for us to be honest about how we’re doing.
This run is, in part, a way of carrying that support forward.
Over the past year, running has become an important outlet for me. It gives me structure, helps me stay steady, and has been a way to process a season that can otherwise feel unpredictable.
I’m running with Team Komen to be part of the work that continues to provide hope for families like ours.
If you feel led to give, we would be grateful. And more than that, we are grateful for you — for the ways you have already shown up for us and continue to do so.
