We celebrate the life of Tomoko Hongo Bryant (August 29, 1968 - June 6, 2026) by creating an "In Honor Page" and donating to Susan G. Koman Cancer Research. Tomoko was an avid promoter of spreading breast cancer awareness and prevention. Tomoko had the courage to face a 15-year battle with breast cancer with grace, dignity, and determination. She was a BADASS WARRIOR! Tomoko lived her life to the fullest and did not allow her illness to define her. She loved being a wife to Chris, who provided her an amazing life, and she loved being a mom to Dylan, who is becoming an incredible young adult and she was so proud. She was the best sister, best daughter, best aunt, best cousin, best daughter in law, best sister in law, and the best friend anyone could ever ask for. And, let's not forget the best doggy mommy!
Tomoko enjoyed teaching group excercise classes, especially Zumba. She was an amazing instructor and inspired so many people to live a healthier life. She was an instructor/member for the Mill Creek Family YMCA for 15 years. Tomoko enjoyed traveling and traveled all over the world. And most of all she LOVED FOOD! She was an incredible cook-she loved to cook for everyone and she loved to eat!
Tomoko's spirit of resilience will carry on within us and may we honor her by living our lives to the fullest. Her memory will live on in every life she touched. As we say in Hawaiian "a hui hou" -until we meet again.
