For October, and Breast Cancer Awareness, we will be holding two events. The first is our Dig For A Cure volleyball game the puts the Varsity Girls Volleyball Team against the Varsity Boys Water Polo Team in a game of volleyball, with a few scoring twists to give the boys a fighting chance. This event is on October 6 at 3:45 pm in the La Jolla High School Gym. The second is our Tangle In The Tank event that pits the Varsity Football Team against the Boys Varsity Water Polo Team in a game of water polo, with some rule twists to help out the football team since we are taking them off of dry land! This event is on October 20 at 3:45 at the LJHS Pool.
For the third event I will be running 100 miles on the track again this year at La Jolla High School, starting on Thursday, May 21 at noon and running non stop until I finish, hopefully around noon on Friday, May 22. I am hoping you will come out and support me by putting in a lap or two - or more, at some point during the 24 hours I will be on the track. I'm also hoping you will donate a little something toward my event.
Ending breast cancer, and all types of cancer, forever is the mission. And that?s why I?m fundraising for this incredible cause; so that none of us have to face cancer alone.
