Ending breast cancer forever is at the center of Susan G. Komen’s mission. And that’s why I’m fundraising for this incredible cause; so that no one has to face breast cancer alone.
I am deeply motivated to run the Eugene Marathon in support of the SGK foundation in honor of the women who are currently fighting breast cancer, the survivors, their families, and most especially those who have lost their courageous fight.
I would be remiss if I did not mention my grandmother, whose unwavering strength and selflessness have inspired me to strive for an impact and meaning in life greater than myself.
