Today, Culligan is proud to be the global leader in better water, and we know that real change often starts with just one person deciding to make a difference. That's why this Pink October, we are honored to partner with Susan G. Komen for our 2nd Annual Culligan Walks for the Cure Fundraiser to promote breast cancer awareness and support those impacted by this disease.
Founded in 1982, the Susan G. Komen organization began with a simple but powerful question asked by Nancy Brinker, sister of Susan G. Komen, "Can one person really make a difference?" The answer, then and now, is a resounding YES. Since its inception, Susan G. Komen has invested more than $1.1 billion in breast cancer research and played a pivotal role in the development of 19 FDA-approved lifesaving breast cancer treatments.
Beyond research, their work creates a vital community where stories are shared, awareness is raised, and those in need receive critical support. Their Patient Care Center provides financial assistance, emotional support, and access to screenings and diagnostic testing for individuals facing breast cancer.
Just like Culligan, Susan G. Komen is committed to making a lasting impact that positively changes the people and the environment.
