What makes you feel connected to Susan G. Komen and our mission to end breast cancer?
I am personally connected to Susan G. Komen's mission to end breast cancer because I have lost family members to breast cancer and even had a follow-up screening scare a couple years ago. I want to spread awareness to help others become more knowledgeable and hopefully not experience the same pain of losing loved ones.
The CAM team is also excited to tackle another year of fundraising efforts after raising funds in 2023! CAM team members are dedicated to communicating Susan G. Komen's mission by raising awareness in and around our community.
Where might people get to see you with your wig on?
I am actively involved with my children's activities and community events. I will wear the wig during my daughter's soccer practices, friends' birthday parties, the school's annual Wolf-a-Thon fundraiser, various restaurants for Gwinnett Burger Week, the GA Pinner's Conference, my youngest son's wedding at the beach, my oldest son's college graduation, and my daughter's school Field Day.
CAM's team members plan to wear similar pink wigs as a group and gather at happy hours and company luncheons. They are also planning to wear them while shopping, traveling, and at the park.

What will be your competitive edge against the other BigWigs?
My competitive edge against competitors is working with an amazing team of women who support the initiative by wearing pink wigs alongside me to help spread awareness.
What is one fun fact about you?
One fun fact about me is that I have always wanted to sing karaoke, but I could never get my husband, kids, or other family members and friends to do it with me. Last year I went to a conference in Nashville and met a wonderful group that invited me to go to a karaoke bar. So, after many years of waiting, my very first-time singing karaoke was in Nashville, Tennessee and I rocked it!
