I lost my beautiful and beloved sister, Cindy Miller, at the age of 59. She passed away on November 13, 2023 after fighting inflammatory breast cancer for 22 years. She was the most courageous person I know. I promised her I would make sure her name and legacy stays alive. 

Ending breast cancer is at the center of Susan G. Komen’s mission. Cindy was a large donor to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, so I decided this would be a perfect way to keep her memory alive while at the same time helping others who are fighting breast cancer. Cindy knew how important research is, especially to women who are diagnosed at a young age. After 22 years of fighting, Cindy ran out of treatment options because we need more research for new therapies. Together, we can ensure that Komen can meet the most critical needs of our communities and invest in research to prevent and cure breast cancer, especially for women who are diagnosed under the age of 40.

This is a fundraiser for all to join and you don’t need to play pickleball. Those who do want to play, this is not a tournament . . . just friendly and social games of pickleball.
