In 2010 Susan's mother, Mildred, was diagnosed for a second time with breast cancer and unfortunately passed away shortly after this diagnosis. At the same time, Susan was also diagnosed with breast cancer and is today a 14-year survivor. In memory of Mildred we have been fundraising for Susan G. Komen for many years.
