I don't run or bake, the more common ways to join a fundraiser. But I want to celebrate one year since diagnosis of breast cancer by skydiving. It will be my first jump.
I chose the Susan G Komen Foundation because I was aware of the name. It was the first place I turned for more information. They had podcasts, support groups and lots of information. I had to choose just one organization to fund raise for. I chose Komen because of the advocacy and commitment to research.
Together, we can ensure that Komen can continue to save lives by meeting the most critical needs of our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
