It's that time again! The 12th Annual We're Going Streaking event is here!

We have been hosting this awesome breast cancer fundraiser, where guests get a temporary/clip-in pink streak in their hair, since 2012. The idea started at our Hoboken salon after we wanted to get ONE pink streak each to honor our mom, Nancy, who had just been diagnosed. After being told we needed to order the hair in bulk in order to pull it off, we got to work - and our annual tradition was born.

We took a year off for our move to the 'burbs...but then in 2017, the amazing team at Salon 685 helped bring our dream to life in Monmouth County. To date, we have raised over $40,000 for Susan G. Komen, the organization that discovered the specific type of cancer Nancy has now beaten!

For 2024, we are excited to partner once again with Breast Intentions, a charity run by a local family whose sole mission it is to reduce the financial strain that a breast cancer diagnosis can bring. A portion of our proceeds will again benefit their amazing organization and the women in our local community they serve.

Looking for a way to get involved? Become a Streaking dreamBASSADOR! All you have to do is organize a group of friends to come get a streak in their hair too. Send them a link to this page to buy a ticket and ensure they write your name in the "how did you hear about us?" box. It's that simple! All dreamBASSADORS will be recognized and entered to a prize from Salon 685. We are also happy to sign off on any community service hours needed.
