We know cancer has touched the lives of many people, but we would like to honor two family members who are close to our hearts at Salon Eight 9 Zero that have been battling breast cancer. We would first like to mention Evelyn, the mother of Co-Owner Beth, who was diagnosed in early April and is undergoing 6 months of chemotherapy and will conclude with surgery on October 2, 2024. Valarie, Beth’s cousin, is unfortunately fighting breast cancer for the second time. She started her journey with surgery and is now currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments as well. As difficult as their path may be, they are staying strong and fighting like hell! 

        We are hosting a “Cut-A-Thon” in their name on Sunday, October 27th where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen in the fight against breast cancer. If you can't make it to the event but would like to contribute, no worries! We created this donation page for that reason! Our fundraiser will be accepting donations starting Tuesday, October 1st (Evi’s Birthday!) and ending on October 31st.
