What is the cost to register?

Early Bird Registration Fees through Sunday, May 10, 2026:
Adult: $25
Virtual Adult: $25
Youth (under 18): $15
Virtual Youth (under 18) $15

Children in strollers are encouraged, but not required, to register for the event so that we may properly account for the needs of all participants. Only registered participants will receive an event T-shirt.

How long is the Race?

The Race is approximately three miles. You may also choose to walk/run a one-mile route.

Are strollers allowed at the event? Yes!

We encourage participants of all ages to join us on the event day!

Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?

Yes! Dogs are allowed to join us on the course and in the event area. Please keep your dog(s) leashed at all times for the safety of your dog and other event participants.

Can I walk the Race?

Absolutely!

Where do I park?

Parking for all participants is located at various locations surrounding Milliken Park, including street parking, local lots, and nearby garages!

Are strollers allowed at the event? Yes!

We encourage participants of all ages to join us on the event day!

Where is the starting line and the finish line?

The starting line and finish line for both 5K runners and one-mile walkers is located at the cross section of Riopelle St and Atwater St.

Join us in the Hope Village area for special activities honoring survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer.

Pathway of Hope/Survivor Parade | 8:15 a.m.

All survivors and people living with metastatic breast cancer will unite to walk into our Opening Ceremony.

Your Event T-shirt

All registered breast cancer survivors and people living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by at 11:59 p.m. CT. Shirt sizes on race morning are not guaranteed. No shirts will be mailed after race day. If you cannot attend, please arrange for someone to pick up your shirt

Ready to make your fundraising legendary? Participants who raise $2,500 or more for any 2026 Race for the Cure, including the 2026 Komen Detroit Race for the Cure, 2026 MORE THAN PINK Walk, or 2026 3-Day will be recognized as members of the 2026 Komen Legends Club. Once you become a Legend, you’ll receive exclusive benefits, including a commemorative lapel pin. Additional information will be emailed to participants as they approach $2,500 in fundraising.
